Wand Woods Civic Club

The Wando Woods Civic Club is really all about us—our neighbors, our streets, and the kind of community we want to live in. It’s a simple way to stay connected, whether that means meeting new people, sharing ideas, or working together to keep our neighborhood safe and welcoming. Through gatherings and local efforts, the club gives everyone a voice and a chance to be part of decisions that affect our day-to-day lives. It also helps us look out for each other and take pride in maintaining the character and value of our homes. At the end of the day, it’s about building a stronger, friendlier Wando Woods where everyone feels at home.

When is Trash/Recycling?

Our neighborhood trash pick up is every thursday, and recycling is every other friday.

Pro tip: Recycling is best put out the night before as they do come to our neighborhood very early in the morning. It usually starts in our neighborhood around 6:30AM but timing can vary depending on where you live and what side of the street you are on.

What are some resources if I have a neighborhood concern?
